Evoking the spirit of ’80s grindhouse cinema, Watch Them Come Blood initially focuses on a group of road tripping friends trailing after a public pervert who leads them to a very peculiar brothel… until a few other players are thrown into the mix. Co-scripted by DIY director Mike Cuenca and producer Joaquin Dominguez, this non-linear story transforms into an exquisite corpse of cinema—a collaborative collage where horror, black humor, indie romance, and post-punk aesthetics coexist. The film doesn’t just pay homage to its influences; it absorbs and reinterprets them, resulting in a piece that’s as unpredictable as it is entertaining, balancing absurdity with genuine suspense.

Reviews

Interesting sexual horror

"Wasn’t quite my taste, but it delivers what it promises. It’s kind of a weird sexual horror fever dream. Had a nice 70’s vibe to it."

Brian L. (3/5)

Fun low budget horror

"Entertainingly fun horror release from ETR Media. Filled with a cast of interesting characters and a decent amount of blood and nudity playing along to a fun soundtrack. Comes with a handful of nifty extras."

Kresh R. (3/5)

As much as I respect

"As much as I respect the effort, this is a great title in search of a film. But what a title!"

Matthew O. (2/5)

Indy Grindhouse

"Ok. This film was alright. The title, soundtrack, characters, etc. . . were all alright. I bet a bit of fun was had during the production, but I felt the film ended up being a little long, even at 79 minutes. I haven't watched the commentaries yet, but they may be fun. The slipcover is pretty sweet, a nice addition with this release."

Ben. Z. (3/5)

Entertaining

"Pretty entertaining exploitation throwback. Mix of crime and horror. Goes nonlinear for the set up before all the bloodshed in the final act. Overall it’s fun."

Nick M. (3/5)

Coming Blood is quite the climax.

"A very dark but fun murder spree. Decent visuals. Standard packaging for this distribution (flippable insert and slipcase). Good sound. I very much appreciated the twist of the location (that's all I will say to not provide spoilers). Definitely worth watching if you don't mind brutal horror."

Patrick G. (5/5)

Worth a look

"Not totally for me, but worth a watch!"

Tyler S. (3/5)

Interesting

"Not for me but I can see many people getting into it"

Bruce K. (5/5)

Kinda dig the approach, making

"Kinda dig the approach, making a sleazeball horror movie while crossing it with 90's era indie slacker gabathons that used to play so well. It works well enough, but the it's too unfocused and flippant to really allow any of the horror or characters to matter much other than the superficial entertainment it has."

Dustin B. (3/5)

Watch them come?

"Watch Them Come… Blood! is a grimy, atmospheric horror film that leans hard into dread and unsettling imagery. Its slow, ominous buildup creates a sense of unease that sticks with you throughout. The movie stands out as a raw, memorable cult piece that embraces its darkness with confidence."

Jeffrey W. (5/5)
