"James Bryan can do no wrong! It’s nice that they included a long OOP and pricy VSA title Hell Riders, but I personally would’ve preferred Frozen Scream. Oh well. A solid release for a highly entertaining and terrible film."

A ruthless gang of thugs is savaging the streets of Hollywood, murdering, robbing, and assaulting the innocent and helpless. As haggard policeman Roger O'Malley does what he can to stem the violence, a mysterious vigilante appears on the scene, attracting significant media coverage after dramatically dubbing himself "The Executioner." Once this crusader hunts down a wayward criminal, he literally blows them up using his stash of grenades. With mounting pressure from the police commissioner to track down the vigilante, O'Malley begins to suspect that the culprit could be Mike, his Vietnam buddy who saved his life during the war, and who is now a local mechanic suffering manic bouts of PTSD.
From the crazed minds of two of 1980s exploitation's most resourceful outsider artists, director James Bryan (Don't Go in the Woods) and writer/actress Renee Harmon (Frozen Scream), comes the jaw-droppingly strange, accidentally surreal, and now, most baffling 4K UHD debut in history: 1984's THE EXECUTIONER: PART II! Starring cult film legend Aldo Ray (Don't Go Near the Park), and Chris Mitchum (Summertime Killer), along with Renee Harmon herself, this non-stop assault of lo-fi action, absurd dubbing, and jaw-dropping stock footage explosions has been newly restored from its original camera negative and returns to home video from VSA. This release also includes the return of Bryan and Harmon's final theatrical feature, HELL RIDERS (1985), starring Adam West (TV's Batman), and Tina Louise (TV's Gilligan's Island), for an '80s grindhouse double feature you'll never forget.

"James Bryan’s The Executioner Part II is a movie with no part one. It is, though, a grimy piece of 80’s exploitation. Bryan’s work has a special B-movie feel to it - one of a kind really. This is an inexplicable movie, one with exaggerated characters who don’t talk like real humans and they’re all behaving badly. A movie from a dream world. The core of this is a satisfying entry into the Vietnam veteran off his rocker trying to clean up the streets vigilante subgenre. The Executioner guy kind of rules. A real psycho. One bad guy is called Tattoo Man but I think he only has two tattoos. Think First Blood’s post-Vietnam ethos boiled down with the melodramatic filth and scum of the Los Angeles underworld."
"Here we go again…. Yet another WTF, “there’s no way in Hell this’ll get an upgrade”, let alone a 4K(?!!?!?), release from VS. I’m a sucker for James Bryan and Renee Harmon, so this is five stars for me. Wish there was a commentary because there are a bunch of interesting stories in and around this movie and those involved, but any quality release of this shows the love. Keep ‘em coming!"
"Fun film. Unfortunately my copy had damage to the inside box. Will buy a replacement with the next order."
"Great old school action flick with a bonus film"
"Fun mid 80’s action movie. Worth picking up this great release."
"Super stoked to check out part III."
"Love this double feature, this is the kind of thing VSA does best"
"If you want a low budget movie in the style of Death Wish, this one is fun."
"Been wanting this to be reissued for a long time."
