The 90s is often dragged for being a low point for horror, but thankfully we have Vinegar Syndrome around to set the record straight. My only gripes with their releases are the low amount of chapter breaks (they call them “reels”) and what I personally view as some blurry printing on their artwork. Otherwise, the quality of the restoration on TICKS is excellent as is the BTS documentary. I haven’t listened to the commentary track yet but I’m happy to see it included.

I had not watched this since seeing it on cable TV when I was a teenager. Snatched it up as soon as I saw VS had done a release of the film. Great transfer and the special features are top notch. You should add this to your film collection.

Classic creature feature and Ami Dolenz is easy on the eyes. VS did an awesome job. This was one I wanted to rent back in the day but never got around to it.

Fun and charming little movie with great special effects and sympathetic characters. Great release and should be in every creature feature movie lovers shelf.

Worth it just to see Alfonso Ribeiro as a hardened gangster instead of the Carlton we know from Fresh Prince! Fun gore effects, plot, and Seth Green and Clint Howard are great as well!
