This listing is for the standard edition 4K UHD/Blu-ray set. The limited edition slipcase & slipcover set (designed by Tom Hodge & Earl Kess) was limited to 8,000 units and is sold out. The two versions are identical, aside from the slipcover.

An assortment of unruly and misfit teens have all been forced to attend camp at a wildlife preserve, to commune with nature. What they don't realize is that nearby in the woods, an illicit marijuana growing operation is underway and the weed farmers have been using a pesticide which has had one very unintended side effect: turning ordinary ticks into giant, ravenous bloodsuckers...

One of the quintessential creature features of the early 90s, Tony Randel's (Hellbound: Hellraiser II, Amityville: It's About Time) TICKS pays loving tribute to 1950s giant monster movies, updating the formula by adding copious amounts of slime and heavily increased bloodshed. Starring Seth Green (Austin Powers), Alfonso Ribeiro (TV's Fresh Prince of Bel Air), Rosalind Allen (TV's Seinfeld) and a very memorable appearance from Clint Howard (Ice Cream Man), Vinegar Syndrome brings TICKS to 4K UHD for the very first time in a never-before-seen extended version, featuring comprehensive interviews and commentaries with the film's key creators including producer Brian Yuzna (Society) and TICKS creator and effects supervisor, Doug Beswick (Aliens, The Terminator).

Absolutely irresistible batshit movie with a flawless transfer

"This was such a fun watch! Crazy and implausible yet so entertaining. The transfer is flawless, and that amps up the wallop it packs during the ick-out scenes. I’ll be watching this ever Spring as bug & tick season starts up from now on."

Grab It If You Don't Own It

"Not sure how this one slipped by me in the 90s, but this movie is a classic. Sorry I missed the deluxe packaging, but to have it in glorious 4K is good enough. Looks fantastic."

Shane R. (5/5)

"This is a real fun underrated freaky horror movie ! Fun story , lots of gore and just a wild ride! Great picture and sound ! Fantastic extras makes this a big recommendation"

Patrick J. (5/5)

A 90's B Horror movie about Ticks.

"Vinegar Syndrome did an amazing job with the 4k Transfer. . The brightness is clear and detail is sharp especially with the actors including the ticks. Two actors I grew up watching who star in the films are both Seth green and Alfonso Ribeiro. My only negative takeaway is that I wasnt able to get the slip cover to this film. The reason being when I realized Vinegar Syndrome was selling Ticks in 4k the slipcover version sold out."

Jose F. (5/5)

Killer tick flick!!

"Ticks is a solid splatter fest, animal attacks movie, that I’m happy to finally own on physical media. The transfer on this disc looks amazing. It is a must own for fans of gross out creature features."
