In 1982, the infamous quacking-duck killer slashed his way across New York City, striking terror into the heart of the Big Apple with a series of brutal murders so shocking, they became the stuff of legends. Now, nine years later in 1989, a new wave of killings has begun, even more bizarre and horrifying than before, and Detective Bob Hansen has been drawn right into the middle of it, with handwritten notes at the scene of each crime, inviting him to the dance. His new partner Fredrick Willams was the man who laid the original Ripper to rest in 1982 and he believes his old friend is literally back from the dead. But Bob knows that's impossible. Or is it? As the murders become more hideous and the stakes get higher, "Duckface" stalks each survivor from the original massacre, seeking a twisted revenge... until the final confrontation, in which the ULTIMATE EVIL will be revealed.
Many years in the making, this is acclaimed author/editor Stephen Romano's bloody crown jewel of his long-running series of graphic novels based on the films of Lucio Fulci. Joining with artists Alex Sarabia, Derek Rook and John J. Hill, Romano has crafted a nonstop rollercoaster of terror you will not easily drive from your mind, with a twist-filled story and imagery so powerful it cannot be seen; it must be endured. The official sequel to THE NEW YORK RIPPER, this blood-soaked book takes the story a quantum leap forward and is a tribute to the master of horror like no other.
