Sky Pirates

Sky Pirates (1986) is an Australian B-movie adventure film inspired by Raiders of the Lost Ark, directed by Colin Eggleston and starring John Hargreaves as a wisecracking pilot, Dakota Harris, who gets caught up in a WWII plot involving a mystical artifact, time warps, and a showdown on Easter Island.

I’m a sucker for Indiana Jones knock offs, and this Aussie flick is one of the better ones. A solid villain, exciting action set pieces, and a globe trotting adventure that hits both Easter island and the Bermuda Triangle! Disc has a fair amount of extras including a trailer compilations of Indy knock offs, and the artwork on both the case and slipcover is fantastic!

As it says in the blurb it's inspired by Raiders and The Philadelphia Experiment and it's just as fun as those, although it's lower budget does show in places. Would love to have seen what the film makers could've done with the budgets Spielberg enjoyed.

It has comedy, action, romance, and adventure! I thoroughly enjoyed the film, plus there are a bunch of great extras I enjoyed as well. If you’re looking for a fun action adventure this is a great pick up.

I have nothing but praise for Vinegar Syndrome. I do, however, DESPISE FedEx for keeping my package a full week and a Half after its original delivery date. I've had issues with the Post Office before but not nearly as many or as often that I've had with FedEx and their despicable brethren
