Sexmission

Two scientists are chosen as guinea pigs for a time experiment: they are placed in hibernation and should be brought back to life after three years............Unfortunately, they are woken up over 50 years later. Turns out, the world looks totally differently from what they remembered. There are no men due to a bomb explosion that destroyed male genes. All people left are women who reproduce with the use of parthenogenesis, bringing up only girls.

Not quite exploitation as you'd assume from the title and plot but instead was a surprisingly clever and well-made movie. The humor isn't corny and translates across the language barrier completely. It's a contained yet entertaining adventure with light commentary on the relationship between men and women, and a really great twist ending. I would fully recommend this movie especially with the reversible cover that includes the original poster. CLASSY!

Didn’t hate it, but for the most part, I found it very unremarkable and unfunny. Hasn’t aged too well.

Sexmission took a while to hook me, but once things get moving, it had me hooked. The films protagonists have great chemistry, as one is in it for the betterment of mankind and the other is in it for the money. However, things don't go to plan and both of them find themselves in a world that reminded me of both Idiocracy and Planet of the Apes. Overall, the film is a fun satire of authoritarianism.

The packaging is nice with both a reversible cover and a booklet!

Delightfully weird and ***** polish sci-fi satire spectacle
