Confused this film for another of similar plot before I bought it, but was happily surprised with what I got.
Hardcore Poisoned Eyes is a slow burn suspense heavy story with a stellar young cast given a small budget. The whole overall film was a fun dirge of a generally bad dialogue but surprisingly good acting if that is possible. The extras again make up for this film as SC went above and beyond for another forgotten SOV and made it even more charming to watch through the interviews and commentary.

I saw this way back in the early 2000's on an old dvd copy and the 25th anniversary restored version on blu-ray (2025) from Saturns Core! I enjoyed it then and I enjoyed more so now with new blu-ray release through Vinegar Syndrome/OCN site. The movie is definitely worth the watch and the new blu-ray is loaded with extras! Full of suspense and reams of atmosphere! Highly recommended!!
