GLOW: THE STORY OF THE GORGEOUS LADIES OF WRESTLING is the true story of what happened behind the scenes of one of the most outrageous television shows in history. From 1986-92, the airwaves were ruled by GLOW—a neon and glitter-soaked reimagining of the World Wrestling Federation with an all-female cast . . . only with more skits, chainsaws, and personalized rap songs. This documentary, which inspired the hit Netflix series GLOW, chronicles the rise and fall of the iconic show through the stories of those who lived it. Produced DIY-style by filmmakers Brett Whitcomb and Bradford Thomason (THE ROCK-AFIRE EXPLOSION), GLOW: THE STORY OF THE GORGEOUS LADIES OF WRESTLING pays tribute to the incredible women who made it all possible. AGFA is thrilled to bring GLOW to Blu-ray for the first time, complete with enough extras to fuel three-thousand suplexes.

GLOW for Life

"I’m a huge professional wrestling fan and was a fan of GLOW growing up. This documentary is like a time capsule back to a simpler time. It looks fantastic and is full of fantastic extras. Maybe you learned about glow from the Netflix show what’s this documentary and learn when it was all about?"

Glow, glow, that's the name.

"Glow, glow, that's the name. Womens wrestling is our game! Loved the series. Glad to look up the real story!"

Dominik W. (5/5)

fantastic

"I never watched "G. L. O. W. " when it originally aired, nor did I manage to see much of it later on, but this doc really gets to me. It's a quietly moving story about a wonderfully silly show. A great mix of vintage clips & contemporary talking heads, this picture gathers most of the participants. I testify that you don't even need to know what G. L. O. W. is to love this movie. The hour+ collection of vintage G. L. O. W. material doesn't hurt, either!"

Isaac W. (5/5)

GREAT DOC!!!

"Being an 80s kid, I remember watching these ladies wrestle Saturday mornings and always being highly entertained by the cheesiness of it. . . this is a well-made doc that tells the inside story of how it all came together and then fell apart, with many touching stories. If you are a fan of the original GLOW show or even the netflix series, this one is definitely worth checking out!"

Adam T. (5/5)
