When Ted’s beloved cat dies, grief fractures his mind beyond repair. Consumed by delusion and anger, he becomes convinced that nine human lives are the key to bringing his pet back from the dead. Armed with vicious clawed gloves and a haunting cat mask, Ted descends into a nightmare of obsession and murder. But amid all his carnage, he meets Claire, a young woman mourning her own lost cat, and their shared sorrow sparks a bond that blurs the line between love and madness.

A decade after shocking audiences around the world, Cat Sick Blues returns in a definitive Blu-ray edition, honoring its status as one of the most unsettling and original works of modern independent horror. Celebrated by critics and cult audiences alike for its volatile mix of grief, absurdity, and gore-soaked cruelty, the film endures as a singular vision that’s darkly funny, deeply uncomfortable, and impossible to forget.

Reviews

Top sick cat!

"This movie features a very singular premise: a Man that has lost his cat believes that It can be bring back to life if he kills nine humans, in order to do this, he Will cosplay as a very sadistic cat. The effects not are top but the atmosphere is gritty enough to make them work. A great and bizarre effort from Wild Eye Releasing."

Carlos R. (5/5)

Cat Re-animator

"A cat owner loses his cat and decides to kill nine people and use their blood to re-animate his beloved feline. I just loved how the fearlessness and letting it get weird and strange in a wonderful way. Great artwork and design. Highly recommended for those tired of mainstream and new Hollywood films."

Hansi L. (5/5)

Nutty in the way that

"Nutty in the way that The Greasy Strangler was, and just as graphic and off-putting. While it may not be as funny as Strangler, it certainly has its moments of absurd hilarity, relying on the visuals and esoteric one-off lines for most of the humor. Putting aside its oddball nature, it's a fairly conventional "whacko" horror, just a guy killing people and a girl maybe falling in with him. It's just so goddamned weird and go-for-broke in the gross-out department that it becomes its own weird little animal."

Dustin B. (3/5)

Cat Sick Fever

"Cat Sick Blues is a deeply disturbing horror film that leans into shock value while exploring grief in a twisted, uncomfortable way. The lead performance is intense and fully committed, making the character’s descent feel unsettlingly real. It’s not an easy watch by any means, but its boldness and emotional undercurrent make it hard to forget."

Shawn M. (4/5)

Weird One!

"This film probably didn‘t have tbe biggest budget & also the actors are not really the best. But it‘s entertaining & his some decent gore effects. We both enjoyed this film!"

Richelle S. (4/5)

A pleasant surprise!

"Man loses cat. Man goes out to kill nine people. Man takes blood from nine people in order to bring his cat back to life."

Thomas P. (5/5)

Fun Time With Friends

"Watched with my friend drunk and found this to be very entertaining. She gave a very interesting perspective on the subversion during the ending. Love the amount of special features."

Logan S. (5/5)

Modern comedy slasher

"Pretty neat modern day slasher. Take a look if you're into it at all."

Scott Z. (5/5)

Wild and Crazy

"This movie doesn’t hold back. Wild, in your face and hilarious! Recommended."

Jeffrey L. (4/5)
