Barbed Wire Dolls

Another of Jess Franco films from 1976 as I gave it a 4 stars for the film. The film is sharp, clear picture, good sounds, and the color is fairly good transfer to the Blu Ray disc. The movie is dub in English. A female warren of course as she and the other male officials abuse the female prisoners to their delight. A lot of nudity, a lesbian short scene and a few closeup of the female crotch, the only hardcore scene you get see that last only about 5 seconds. The girls are beautiful but there's no real hardcore *** scene in this prison story by this Jess Franco film, if you were expecting. He has made other hardcore films but this not one of them. A fan of Jess Franco films, Joe NY.

This is certainly not the kind of film one watches for the plot or character development. That doesn't stop some of the cast from delivering a solid performance, however. The appeal of this type of movie lies instead in its frequent nudity, and in that regard, this one certainly delivers—featuring, above all, a Lina Romay in her prime. It may not be an essential Jess Franco title, but it is a film worth watching for fans of the "women in prison" genre or female bodies in general. The slipcover has a beautiful design that will look good in any collection.

It's Jess & Lina, you know what you're getting.

Not one of Franco's best films, but this is a solid release nonetheless.

**** yet intense prison rules 😜. . . one of the best slipcovers imo
