""We knew then, that we were being changed...and made part of their world. We didn't know for what purpose... but we knew, we would be told." The only feature film directed by legendary title sequence and graphic artist Saul Bass, PHASE IV (1974) is a chilling sci-fi tale that puts an eerie spin on animal attack movies. It presents an otherworldly feel by incorporating fascinating macro footage of real ants working tirelessly on what we're not exactly sure at first but later discover, is not going to be good for the human race. A must-see for any one interested in insect politics who enjoys a shot of high art in their terror."
