Matthew Frenis - Warehouse Associate

"Ahh, Madman. The little slept-on slasher that could! It captures everything I love about 80s horror: equal parts cheese and creepiness. The theme song is unforgettable—I often get eye rolls for singing it in the warehouse when shipping a copy. The kills are fun, the atmosphere is perfect, and Paul Ehlers (originally the film’s poster designer) crushes his performance with a station wagon hood. Sure, some shots drift out of focus and the acting gets goofy, but that’s the magic! The Burning is better, you say? No chance. LONG LIVE MARZ!"
