"What Poltergeist I and III were to suburbia and high-rise apartment buildings respectively, I feel like Dark Tower is to the era of office buildings. Dark secrets, bad mojo, morose atmosphere, nightmare logic and supernatural revenge abound in this monstrous murder mystery. Michael Moriarty (patron saint of character actors) is great, Jenny Agutter is her usual darkly alluring self and notably, director “Ken Barnett” is actually Freddie Francis of Amicus and Hammer fame, in his final directorial role."
