Reviews

Effective indie thriller

"It’s a slow burn, but an effective little indie thriller. It’s a slow burn at first, but the tension really builds in the 3rd act and there’s great performances all around and definitely some plot twists I didn’t see coming."

Brennan B. (4/5)

Competently made for a low-budget offering!

"Yellow Veil Pictures disc of Blood On Her Name with a special limited edition embossed slipcover, A woman's panicked decision to cover up an accidental killing spins out of control when her conscience demands she return the dead man's body to his family. The picture is competently made for a low-budget offering however it does it with skill!"

LUIS C. (5/5)

Better than expected

""Blood on Her Name" is primarily a character study, a study of guilt and remorse that shows how most of us could never cope with having committed a terrible and immoral crime."

Valentins S. (4/5)

Okay for a drama

"Not a bad movie but it’s more of a drama. Drags a bit for me"

Sue S. (2/5)

Good, not great.

"I never really got into this one. It was good compared to contemporary blockbuster thrash, but still on the VS lineup I've seen better."

Luc T. (3/5)

Kamal H. (5/5)

Blood on her name

"Great movie"

Robert H. (5/5)

Lacking but Engaging

"Since we can't rate in half stars. Lean towards 2 1/2 on this one. It starts out really strong but tends to feel more like a short film at a sub 90 minute length. Thought Bethany and Will's scenes together were electric."

Derek R. (3/5)

not a bad film I

"not a bad film I seem movie plots like this before but other than that it was just a okay movie. as for the features 2 commentary track which I love commentary tracks cause it gives more which replay value. oh comes with a small page booklet."
