    Fuck ya Australia really is

"Fuck ya Australia really is the go to for not only horror flicks these days but pretty much anything original film wise it's a shame that these films aren't getting a wider audience. This one is quite bleak and depressing and when you leave you're thinking men are assholes. But for the right crowd this is well worth a spin. I missed out on the Umbrella Blu Ray so I'm so happy Dark Sky released it here with the same restoration and great sound I imagine. Great film!"

    Psychological relationship drama

"I think I was expecting more of a horror tinge to this. It explores the psychology of abusive relationships and friend groups so can feel creepy at times, but it is not a horror film. The Aussie accents got a bit heavy for me, not something I usually notice. Stylistically shot with great performances. A bit long with a slow, quiet and ambiguous ending. No happy ending for sure. Worth checking out."

    Ed K. (5/5)

Thank you, VS, for continuing to lovingly restore and release so many wonderful films from every conceivable genre! You are keeping physical media alive in this streaming world we now live in! Highly recommended!"

    Modern psychological thriller

"Really enjoyed this film that delivers a moody, uncomfortable atmospheric environment. Great sound and extra features in this release. 4/5 stars!"

    Uncomfortable Australian Cinema

"Australian cinema can be really great at subverting expectations, and first-time directors Jack Clark and Jim Weir prove to be similarly adept. Thrilled to see it pop up on blu ray here!"

    Scott F. (5/5)

A24 worthy (but in a good way)

"Slipcover art is amazing! Love this thriller with an absolute original story. My order came fast and I was so happy to finally get my hands on this movie. Definitely will be watching this one more than once!"

    Derrick A. (5/5)

Slow burn thriller about male toxicity

"Pick this indie release up. It’s a slow burn but with the ambiguous ending, I found it a great film on male toxicity and how relationships can make a person feel trapped."

    Eric B. (5/5)
