Great new wavy suspense

Sexual violence and vengeance in the Canadian snow, set to pumping ‘70s rock.

Grindhouse sleaze born out of labour exploitation, economic stagnation and small town resentment in the middle of nowhere, with nothing to do but throw back Molsons and play pool (the highlight scene before the film takes an unflinchingly dark turn that ends in a cathartic Death Proof-style car chase).

Hot to trot star Céline Lomez is that decade’s lookalike to fellow Canadian, Alanis Morissette.

Lots of extras on this one, but nothing too substantial. Commentary track didn’t add much of anything for me this time, and I actually think the second slip cover they put out was better than the original.

I'm lukewarm on Canadian exploitation flicks, they never seem to connect with me the way I hope. This was was no different, but its still worth seeing and there are a lot of informative special features. I got the alternate slip art, which looks pretty cool, and I think I prefer to the original. So worked out well.

A wintry hangout picture that turns into a rape revenge extravaganza of ultraviolence. This was a really pleasant surprise. I really dig the alternate cover.

An amazing find. Loved every minute of this. Great cinematography, performances, and direction. Really transcends the sleazy sounding plot. This is a film about organized labor and unions as much as it is about a stripper and her pimp getting revenge. Slip cover art is great
