Notice: please click HERE for the limited edition "catalog box" designed by artist Tony Stella. This box is meant to hold the following Rudy Ray Moore Blu-ray releases: DOLEMITETHE HUMAN TORNADOPETEY WHEATSTRAW and DISCO GODFATHER.

Rudy Ray Moore is The Disco Godfather, owner and MC at the baddest disco in town. But there's a new evil in the community: Angel Dust. Determined to find and destroy the source of 'the whack,' The Disco Godfather becomes a one-man fighting machine from south central to Beverly Hills.

The last of Rudy Ray Moore's 70s features, DISCO GODFATHER is easily the strangest and most original of his filmic output. Combining his trademark Kung-fu action with social commentary and hallucinogenic nightmare sequences which evoke the surreal weirdness of Coffin Joe, DISCO GODFATHER is an unforgettable cinematic finale from one of the greatest names in Blaxploitation film history.

Newly restored from its long lost 35mm original negative, Vinegar Syndrome proudly presents DISCO GODFATHER on Blu-ray for the first time, packed with all new special features.

Reviews

The King - Rudy Ray Moore

"While not as good as Petey Wheatstraw (my favorite Moore) Disco Godfather still has that over the top goofiness that I love to see."

Joe P. (5/5)

Rudy Ray Moore's films need

"Rudy Ray Moore's films need to be seen to be believed. There is nothing like them and genre film fans are sure to find something to love. They are some the most bonkers films put on celluloid. Vinegar Syndrome's Blu-ray looks and sounds great. The boxset looks amazing on my shelf. This film is a must own from anyone visting this site."

Jason C. (3/5)

The goofiest of them all

"Beautiful work by VS for Rudy Ray Moore's films. This isn't as high quality as Dolemite, but still lighthearted and fun none the less."

jacob s. (3/5)

Clint W. (5/5)

Acidic

"Not my fave Rudy Ray Moore movie but definitely the most wild. It's worth a watch just for the hallucinogenic dance floor cut scenes."

Natalie M. (3/5)

Excellent!

"The fourth and final Rudy Ray Moore release from Vinegar Syndrome is also fantastic. I don’t like the default artwork, but it has reversible art so it’s all good. There’s tons of special features and a bonus DVD copy of the movie (missing here). Just a great release all around, so happy I was able to get it."

Aidan Z. (4/5)

The last Rudy

"Not my favorite RRM film but a cool finale with some cool tripped out scenes."
