"This movie is a childhood favorite of mine and is, in fact, the release that introduced me to Vinegar Syndrome. As part of their VSU (Vinegar Syndrome Ultra) line, this release is among the best of the best that Vinegar Syndrome has ever released. The packaging consists of a 4K Amaray case with a slipcover, a booklet, and a solid hardbox that holds everything. It is rigid, durable, and held shut by a magnet embedded in the lid of the box. I’ve never been a fan of VS’ artwork, and this one leaves a lot to be desired…but the main attraction is the movie, which didn’t disappoint. The transfer is sharp, with a heavy grain structure. This movie doesn’t have a strong color palette, so colors are going to be muted (that’s just how the film was shot). If you’re a fan of this film, or are a curious film buff that wants to see this one, grab it in a sale. Highly recommended."
