Violator

Not bad. Not as good as meatball

Machine but worth picking up if you enjoy the weirder side of Japanese horror and splatter movies. The plot takes interesting enough turns even if things are a little uneven.

The film immediately warns you about the violence in it, but you still wonder if it's really that bad. One scene, in particular, can be applied to that. I liked the premise, practical effects and all that, along with the theme of the family unit in Japan, but that one scene is hard to watch (no spoilers).

A violating film!

Violator is an intelligent horror film that relies on psychological tension and moral conflict rather than traditional scares. Much of the suspense comes from the interactions between the characters, creating an atmosphere that grows more uncomfortable as the story unfolds.

The film's conversations are one of its greatest strengths. They gradually reveal each character's fears, regrets, and motivations, making the emotional stakes just as compelling as the supernatural elements. The dialogue keeps the tension high without relying on excessive action.

The true genius of the film lies in its restraint. Instead of explaining everything, it trusts the audience to interpret the events and themes for themselves, resulting in a story that lingers long after the credits roll.

Overall, this is a thoughtful and atmospheric horror film that rewards viewers looking for psychological depth as much as supernatural suspense.

Great release!
