VICE ACADEMY 1-6 is part of our Vinegar Syndrome Archive collection, celebrating forgotten cinematic oddities from the video store era. This collection was inspired by our own brick & mortar video stores, with locations in Bridgeport, CT, Denver, CO, Toronto, ON, and Pittsburgh, PA.

Unique to this line, each numbered limited edition release will come fitted in a specially designed, bottom loading VHS inspired slipcase, while also including a double-sided poster.

These releases will ONLY be available on our website and at participating indie retailers. Absolutely no major retailers will be stocking them. This spot gloss slipcase edition (designed by Robert Sammelin) is strictly limited to 6,000 units and may (but probably not) be followed by a standard edition in the future.

Today, the sagas from the hallowed halls of the esteemed Vice Academy are legendary. From the early years of trapping porn producers to the villain who escaped from a CD-ROM to wreak havoc over the city, the expert hands of Vice Academy cops Holly, Traci, Candy, and Didi always managed to solve crimes and look dazzling while doing so. Capturing devious villains such as  Malathion, Queen Bee, Spanish Fly, and Heidi Ho was never easy, but under the watchful eyes and expert tutelage of Ms. Devonshire and the Commissioner, the Vice Academy team always managed to pull it off.

From their debut in the late 1980s, Rick Sloane's VICE ACADEMY movies were a runaway hit for a full decade. Between regular airplay on late-night cable television and popularity at the video store, the series relied upon broad and camp comedy, a rotating stable of B-movie starlets, and inspired riffs on popular culture and hit movies of the day. Alongside Sloane's regular cast and crew, the series includes lead roles by Linnea Quigley (The Return of the Living Dead, The Black Room), Ginger Lynn Allen (New York Ninja, Trashy Lady), Elizabeth Kaitan (Slave Girls from Beyond Infinity, Silent Madness), and Raelynn Saalman (Attack of the 60-Foot Centerfolds, Young Blood Fresh Meat). Finally nabbed from their original negatives by Vinegar Syndrome Archive, all six saucy entries have been booked and await indictment.

Reviews

Great collection for the price

"You can’t beat this set when you take the content and the cost. Six movies with a very attractive package with fantastic picture quality my only issue here is that the quality of the actual movies somewhat diminish as a series goes on, but overall an awesome collection"

The Complete Vice Academy Collection

"Finally VS put out the entire Vece Academy series looking great. These are silly late night comedies but if you are a fan of director Rick Sloane, or the cast including Linnea Quigley, then you'll want these in your collection. There's a fold out poster and a nice collection of extras features on the discs. When they put out the first three, I hoped for volume 2, but at least this is a space saver on the shelf and it is very reasonably priced for 6 films!"

Sam N. (5/5)

"Got a pistol in my pocket, and baby you can cock it!"

"I do love the theme song. These silly T&A flicks can be fun when you're in the right mood. The first two with Ginger Lynn and Linnea Quigley are the best. But Elizabeth Kaitan who jointed in VA3 and then carried the franchise from there is very cute, and I found myself coming to like her more and more."

Adam C. (5/5)

More naughty Police Academy clone times 6!

"I'm not going to lie : these films are not really for me. My FOMO got the better of me and after having seen the first one, which I already thought of as being very silly and containing groanworthy jokes, I know the following 5 films are going to be seen with lots of time between. That said, this release is an exemplary work of art if you look at it from an inclusion angle : even very silly and very broad tripe needs a fair chance to shine. The presentation, the slipcover, the care,. . . it gives these films a shine that make them at the very least very collectable."

Tim V. (3/5)

Goofy fun

"Picture quality on these films is outstanding. . presentation of the films inside a sweet hard box cover. It's quite a commitment from VS to secure all 6 films in one set. However, goofy fun only goes so far. One would think these films are full of t&a but that's not the case. Less than 30 seconds per film. Boooo that's why the 4 stars. There should be in these type of films 5 minutes + in each film."

Clinton M. (4/5)

Can’t Go Wrong With This Set!!!

"Missed out on the original VSA release of 1-3. Was thrilled when 1-6 became available. Movies look incredible! Beautiful hard box / poster. What’s not to love?"

Matt L. (5/5)

Wish They Could Arrest Me!!

"Amazing and sexy cover art for these hidden comedy gems! Love the box and treatment given to these classics! You can never go wrong with Ms. Quigley and Ginger Lynn! Vinegar Syndrome for the win!!"

John F. (5/5)

Heck yeah

"Pretty cool to re-release this with 4-6 included. Wish there had been an option to get just 4-6 but oh well. These movies are great 80s trash, a lot of fun. Great release, top tier as always."

John M. (5/5)

Trashy late night viewing fun

"A series like this was made for lat night viewings. Packed with sexy humor, outrageous adventures, and iconic 80s style, Vice Academy 1–6 is a must-have cult box set. The ultimate guilty pleasure you’ll want to watch again and again. Please VS PLEASE release more 80s-90s sex comedies. I will buy them all!"

Erik G. (4/5)

Vice Academy 1–6: Arrestingly Entertaining Trash

"Rick Sloane's Vice Academy series is equal parts police spoof, late-night cable sleaze, and glorious B-movie chaos. The jokes rarely land, the plots barely matter, and somehow that's exactly the charm. Vinegar Syndrome Archive gives all six films an unexpectedly classy restoration and packs the set with enough extras to celebrate every ridiculous minute. If you have a soft spot for Linnea Quigley, Ginger Lynn, and wonderfully shameless '80s and '90s schlock, this set graduates with honors."
