Fresh off making a name for herself in Hong Kong cinema and introducing the world to China O’Brien, Cynthia Rothrock stars in this trilogy of martial arts actioners.
Supported by Jalal Merhi and Bolo Yeung, the three films follow the same thread of murders taking place with the cause of death being the use of a deadly form of martial arts, tiger claws. Merhi and Rothrock star as a pair of detectives assigned to track down the killers and uncover the truth, all centred around Yeung’s character, Chong.
The three films feel different enough not to be retreads of each other and each one has merits to make it enjoyable for different reasons (the last one is absolutely off the wall nuts).
The extras give insights into the making of the films with Merhi and Rothrock providing interviews into their experiences on the films, with Merhi coming across as the driving force behind the films.
The packaging is great aa usual and the value for money getting all three films in this set is just absolutely phenomenal
