Rendered mute after being sexually assaulted as a youth, Madeleine (sexploitation superstar, Christina Lindberg) lives an isolated existence in her parents' farmhouse. Missing the bus on her way to town one day, Madeleine accepts a lift from a wealthy and charming stranger named Tony. What starts off as an innocent meeting soon takes a nightmarish turn when Madeleine learns that Tony is really a sadistic pimp on the make, who soon enslaves her into his prostitution racket by forcing her to become dependent on heroin. After refusing to service a client, Tony punishes Madeleine by violently blinding her in one eye, forcing her to wear an eyepatch. Despite her limited means, Madeleine secretly saves money to undergo karate and weapons training behind Tony's back. Once she reaches lethal proficiency, Madeleine embarks on a bloody road to revenge against her captors...

"VS kills it like always. This movie has never looked better! Having previously owned the VHS only, this is a huge leap for a film that deserves more attention. My package arrived promptly and packaged in perfect condition."
"What can be said about Thriller that hasn’t already been said? This is clearly a five star exploitation movie and it is one of my all-time favorites. Christina Lindberg is awesome and I highly encourage you to check out her other movies, if not done so already. This comes highly highly highly recommended."
"Thriller is a simple enough revenge movie. However, I wouldn't call it a great film. There's barely any tension. One-eye's ability to go and come as she pleases from her captor is somewhat strange, allowing her to build her strengths as a killer. So, does she get to keep all her money that she makes as a prostitute? Some of this plot is never really fleshed out. Speaking of flesh, the pornographic inserts were exploitative, but they also help drive home the horror of One-eye's predicament. I just thought there could be more action in the movie's third act instead of the watered down, repetitive slow motion scenes. Film looks great and the artwork makes this movie feel like a bigger deal."
"I'd been hemming & hawing over this release for quite awhile, but the new slipcase was what did it for me. I love how the gloss knocks out of the skull & text (rather than the other way around, which is what you would typically see). Wish there was a booklet."
"Excellent transfer of this definitive exploitation film. A bleak and gritty film that is a masterpiece of the genre. The sound slows down for each kill making for a real grasp of the revenge Madeline is getting. It is an artful depiction of the surroundings she finds herself in which are drab and cold. Really brought to life in the 4k uncut film."
"There is nothing to say. Watch this film. Beautiful release, lovingly restored with all the warts and bruises. Excellent packaging."
"Brutal movie, beautiful disc — strange sentence, but here we are. Scanned fresh from the 16mm negative, this blows the older Synapse Blu-ray out of the water: grain looks great, colors (especially the blues and oranges) really sing, and blacks stay solid without crushing out detail. It'll never look pristine because of how the film was shot and blown up to 35mm, but this is about as good as this notorious slice of Swedish grindhouse cinema is ever going to look. You get both the uncut Swedish version and the trimmed American cut (They Call Her One Eye), plus a goofy grab-bag of extras including outtakes and a couple tracks off Christina Lindberg's old 7" single. Packaging's got a nice embossed slipcover too. Not for the faint of heart, but a genuinely excellent release of a film that's earned its cult infamy."
"Packed presentation and an incredible upgrade from the dvd. This is peak exploitation and one of the all time greats, super influential. Cristina is the queen!"
"Very nice artwork on slipcover nice spot gloss slipcover slipcover is very shiny might be full gloss slipcover I like design on back slipcover been one eye nice making of documentary on story thriller cruel pitchure great interview cast and crew telling about their experiences in the film went for about 42 mins"
"The sound design is haunting. Really adds to the grit visuals and lighting. Looks fantastic on 4k. Especially the dark slow motion scenes. It is indeed a very cruel picture. Though it's more of a history piece than anything else."
