Another really enjoyable issue of This Is Cinématographe. I like having something physical to sit down with and read about films rather than always looking at a screen, and these journals are very nicely put together. The writing is informed without becoming too academic, and there is always something that sends me off wanting to watch a film I haven’t seen or revisit one I haven’t thought about in years. A great companion to what Cinématographe is doing with the label itself, and I hope they keep making them.

Small in size but big in quality. Loved reading Sean Baker’s sexploitation picks but enjoyed all the articles

Another excellent issue of Cinématographe's Zine, containing pieces on some of my favorite things- Paul Schrader, Jim Thompson and Apocalypse Now!
I still think the price is a little high for what we get, which is why I dock a star from what would be a 5 star rating. 52 pages for $10 is pushing the price limit for me. But the content is interesting and I'm hoping if this continues to sell they'll be able to give us a little more content each issue.
