Set during the Lebanese Civil War, this film is a poignant look at what the residents deal with on a daily basis. Some people are fleeing, others stay and fight, and some just can't bear to leave their neighborhoods and decide to weather the storm. Some people hold on to hope as death happens in the background. It becomes so normal, that it just becomes another day.

I’ve been meaning to watch more movies directed by Saab for quite some time. So I’m glad I finally managed to watch it!
The disc is great, and I’m looking forward to seeing more of her movies getting restored and released on blu ray!
