At Bill Gartley’s Blue Ribbon Laundry, the closest thing to blood is a wine-stained shirt, but Bill’s niece, Sherry, cuts herself on an old steam press, and an unholy taste for human flesh is awakened in the machine. After an employee of the laundry is killed in what appears to be a freak accident, Detective John Hunton begins to investigate. However, when additional deaths begin to occur, Hunton becomes convinced that the old press is, in fact, possessed!
From the minds of horror master Tobe Hooper (The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Poltergeist) and writer Stephen King (The Shining) comes a terrifying and darkly comedic vision of technology gone mad: THE MANGLER (1995). Packed with outrageously gory and bizarre set pieces along with impressive visual effects, Vinegar Syndrome is excited to present the UHD debut of this supremely strange and entertaining 90s horror classic, presented in a stunning new 4K restoration of its original 35mm camera negative, in its extra gruesome unrated version, and loaded with extras including an extended new making-of documentary featuring interviews with cast and crew.

King at it's finest
"The new restoration is picture perfect. I made the order as fast as my fingers and internet would move. The slip case and cover are badass. I'd like to see more king movies restored by VS in 4k. I'd also dig VS doing his Rose Red series in hd. This is a must for any King collector."

"Beautiful packaging, great transfer. I love that they still include a blu ray because I haven't caught up with technology, yet. I LOVE going to The Archive. It's one of my favorite places in CT."

Gory glory
"One of the better Tobe Hooper movies. I have a sweet spot for this. The gore scenes look fantastic in 4K. The package only functions with UV light which I don’t have."

The Mangler
"I haven’t watched this movie in a long time , but loved it in the VHS days. It’s a B movie in the best respects. Looks great on 4k and the new making of was really good as well. The glow in the dark box is a nice touch as well."

We all have to make sacrifices
"This is one of my old faves that I had on VHS as a kid so I was thrilled to see this release since I never upgraded to Blu-ray and I always loved this movie. I forgot how cheesy the end was, when they're trying to exorcise the demon from the laundry folding machine. But still a classic! The glow in the dark slip is neat! Even though it's textured like a 30 grit fine sandpaper. Can't wait to dig into the special features."

"The packaging in this is simply amazing. The texture the look and it glows!!!! Half the fun in collecting is when you come across superior packaging like this. Plus the transfer is amazing. I love how you take these childhood memories and turn them in to art. The movie itself might not be top notch but you turn them into something that can be treasured forever like the memories."
