The Little Hours

This was too funny, but I think you need to watch it twice to fully appreciate the humour (at least for me). Glad to have this release on bluray. The design of the slip cover is very well done as well. Loaded with fun extras and features, language.

I re-watched this twice in the same weekend- how often does that happen these days?

This film went under the radar and features a stellar cast giving great performances. The two commentaries included are insightful and entertaining, and the packaging is fantastic.

I had never heard this movie before I bought the Blu-Ray on a sale. Surprisingly I knew the whole cast. Also surprisingly they annoyed me a lot. I understand that this is the gimmick of the movie but they still annoyed me. The gimmick in case you are wondering is nuns in the Middle Ages acting like modern teenagers.

Also the nudity near the end looked super-fake, as if they stuck a toupee between their legs trying to pass it for pubic hairs. Was this supposed to be joke I didn't get? Or the actresses have a real hair problem? Who knows. . .

Funny cast and performances in this dark nun comedy set in the middle ages. Highly recommended. 4/5 stars!
