Founded in 2006, Wild Eye Releasing has carved out a name as a driving force in low-budget, underground, and outsider cinema, earning a cult following among filmmakers and fans alike. Wild Eye champions horror, action, sci-fi, exploitation, arthouse, documentaries, and vintage gems from across the globe, delivering them worldwide via home video, digital and theatrical avenues. We also produce our own in-house features and mockbusters like the fan-favorites Cocaine Shark, Amityville in Space and the Ouija Shark and Jurassic Shark series, while proudly distributing VHS era classics such as Splatter Farm, Zombie Bloodbath, Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell and The Necro Files via our sister imprint, Visual Vengeance.

A co-ed group of college pledges are sent to a crumbling mansion for initiation, but the night turns deadly when a deranged professor (Brad Dourif) begins killing them one by one from beyond the grave. Trapped inside, they must uncover his motive—and the possible traitor in their ranks.

Blending slasher tropes with supernatural overtones and satire, The Hazing delivers kinetic early-2000s indie energy with a cast packed full of cult favorites and practical effect set-pieces. What begins as a typical frat-house prank flick quickly mutates into a direct-to-video classic featuring relentless action, humor and carnage driven by inventive and grotesque effects and an over-the-top villainous performance from horror icon Brad Dourif.

From director Rolfe Kanefsky, the prolific cult filmmaker known for mixing comedy and horror sensibilities into fast-paced, offbeat genre gems (There's Nothing Out There, Nightmare Man, The Black Room), The Hazing celebrates its first time ever on Blu-ray and features over 10 hours of new and archival bonus material, including a never-before seen alternate version of the film.

So cheesy and weird and

"So cheesy and weird and super violent. I remember seeing this on Tubi years back and the subtitles were terrible but I enjoyed the movie regardless. Wild Eyes disc is a blessing. I love this type of low budget Japanese cinema. Happy it's finally on Blu Ray."

Bryan K. (5/5)

Intense

"Violator is grim, uncomfortable, and intentionally rough around the edges, the kind of Japanese underground film that feels more like a dare than a normal viewing experience. It is not exactly pleasant, but its ugly intensity and raw atmosphere make it hard to dismiss if you are into darker, more confrontational cult cinema."

Shane P. (5/5)

Bonkers fun

"Crazy ass movie in great packaging, super release!"

Jakob P. (5/5)

Really cool movie

"A hot chick is trying to find her Sister that joined a mass suicide chat group. Lots of bad things happen. It gets really nutty! I loved it. The packaging is really cool."

Nolan L. (5/5)

"Lots of walking in the woods. Quite slow. But interesting effects and ending"
