Thad Beaumont is tired of writing trashy pulp novels under the pseudonym “George Stark” in order to make a living. Yearning to focus solely on scribing the intellectually stimulating literature he enjoys, Thad decides to - literally - bury his alter ego in a figurative attempt to finally break free of lucrative lowbrow temptations. "This is an adaption to a Stephen king book I really enjoy. I remembering laying in my bed with the window open reading this for the first time when it was first released and there is a moment in the book where George Stark is standing outside a building where a someone is scared seeing him there. As I read this I looked out the window and someone was standing outside on the sidewalk looking up at me, and they walked off. After this happen no adaption would hold up to that moment of reading it. The movie is still fun and VS did a great job with the restoration as usual."
"This is a stacked release with a solid transfer and tons of extras. Possibly more than it deserves? Not to say the film is bad, it’s actually pretty good, but they really went all out with this release. I don’t necessarily love the artwork, although the gloss on the ravens eyes is a nice touch, but the original artwork is included so that’s all that matters. Again, I’m nitpicking here, this is a great release and everyone should grab it!"

"This isn’t my favourite Stephen King adaption, nor my favourite Romero film but it is still highly enjoyable and looks much better than the old Blu-Ray, so overall a worthwhile upgrade. This hard box, book and slipcase are great too."
