The Columnist

I simply loved this horror comedy flick!

Great performances and great pace.

Love the artwork.

I liked the setup of the columnist. But the problem with the film is that it goes so quick towards something that feels unrealistic and also kind of misandry - in a way that I felt the movie lost its own feet on its way. The lead actress is cute and she delivers but the movie sadly ended up being something I did not like at all

The relevance of this film had me getting angry for Femke. Social media, especially FB, can be a real cesspool of hate in all forms. It's easy to see all the terrible comments because they stand out for how awful and disgusting they are. Nowadays, it's common to see comments telling someone they are a pedo, and then proceed to disseminate those lies. Especially for women, having to be constantly told by men what they should and should not do? Was Femke wrong? Did she become the thing she was killing? Sure, we can argue freedom of speech, and we can also argue that it doesn't mean freedom from consequences. If Femke didn't do what she did, it probably would've been someone else. Just because you are hiding behind a computer screen or your phone, doesn't make you untouchable. An overall solid film.

Very fun movie and great release from vinegar syndrome!

the release and the features of this strange horror film is very decent and the movie it self is nice. i recommended
