Tammy and the T-Rex is already the perfect movie for an over-the-top collector's edition, and the Limited Edition Deluxe LED VHS completely embraces that personality. A movie about Denise Richards falling for her boyfriend after his brain ends up inside a mechanical Tyrannosaurus deserves packaging that's just as ridiculous as the premise.
The VHS-style presentation is pure nostalgia, but the LED element takes it beyond a simple retro reproduction and turns the box itself into a display piece. It's exactly the kind of unnecessary excess that makes collecting physical media fun.
The artwork and overall design capture the colorful, campy spirit of the movie perfectly. It feels deliberately loud and playful rather than trying to turn Tammy and the T-Rex into something it isn't.
Overall, this is an absurdly fun edition of an equally absurd cult movie and the kind of release that immediately stands out in a collection.
