A really fun Shudder pickup with the right mix of haunted-house chaos, awkward breakup energy, and silly demon business. Emily Hagins keeps it light without losing the horror flavor, and the release feels like a nice fit for this side of the VS/OCN shelf. The slipcover and extras make it feel like more than just a quick streaming title on disc.

This was better than I thought it would be and balances the horror and comedy quite well. I liked all the characters and the effects were well done. If I had one nitpick, it’s that it could have easily been trimmed 10 min. or so. That being said, I recommend it. Extras and artwork were just okay, but again, if you can find it for the right price it’s worth picking up.
