Brings the humor a bit more for this one, and whether it strikes your funny bone will go a long way to determining how much you like this. It bonged me nicely and brought forth the chuckles

Was shocked and thrilled to see that VS was releasing this insane amazing Ben Wheatly masterpiece. Don't read anything about it. . . Just buy. . kick back. . and feel your jaw drop. Fantastic presentation on every level. You will watch multiple times

If you like subtle but dark humor, I'd recommend giving this title a watch. The slipcover caught my eye, I watched the trailer and decided to go for it. Glad I did. Happy to have this movie in my collection.

Love this director and hadn't seen this one since it first came out. While, yes, it is a comedy, it is so dark it really is one of his most disturbing films. . . disgusting even. An impressive piece of work.

After being blown away by Kill List, beguiled by High Rise, and tickled by Sightseers, there was only one possible conclusion: Ben Wheatley is a real one. It's the most comedic of the three but no less mean-spirited and black hearted.
Another solid release from IFC. The long overdue restoration looks fabulous and IFC generous as always with the extras, from the commentary, to the BTS, to the handsomely illustrated booklet. If you like your humor jet black, this is a roadtrip to **** you'll want to take. Just be sure to sleep with one eye open.
