"Watched the trailer and got intrigued. Has a lot af atmosphere and kept me interested to the very end. Great performances and cimenatography. Will watch again."
"I wouldn't classify this as horror. It was enjoyable. More tense than anything. We're staying with the modern trend of trauma equals horror. Great cover art with a handful of special features. Unfortunately no booklet."
"Beautiful cinematography, slow burn horror drama that I would recommend to everyone. Psychological horror."
"After the sudden death of one of his patients, and his subsequent nervous breakdown, resident Dr. James Hayman (Namir Smallwood) transfers to a county hospital for a fresh start in a more intimate setting. But when a teenage patient (Sidney Flanagan) presents with frequent, unexplained asthmatic attacks, his suspicions of Munchausen-by-proxy go unheeded, and he is overwhelmed with episodes of lost time and horrific visions. It's an intense mystery-drama, with elements of horror, that never quite goes where you expect it to, making it consistently engaging, though it also doesn't resolve in a neat fashion, so it requires some interpretation and imagination on the viewer's part. It's well-directed and acted, and the shadowy and claustrophobic cinematography adds immensely to the mood and suspense. While I enjoyed Smallwood's acting ability, I did think that his insular portrayal lacked a sympathetic quality -- just a little too cold and detached to identify with. I know that this is a plot point in the screenplay, and we do finally get to see beneath the surface, but at times, it made his character seem irredeemably aloof and was at odds with his professed goals. As an actor myself, though, I understand the tightrope he had to walk due to the writing, so I don't envy him that role. It was an odd sort of character drama, addressing issues of medical ethics, mental health, and doctor-patient boundaries, and it works more often than not. While the pacing and vagaries of genre may not satisfy everyone's tastes, it's a solid attempt at something a little different with substance and style."
"A pretty good medical, psychological drama with some creepy moments. Beautiful cinematography and engaging story. Picture and sound are good. Cool slipcover and extras. Overall a very nice release from Music Box."

"Rounding (2022) is a psychological thriller that blends medical drama and horror, featuring a tense atmosphere and strong performances, though its slow pace may be frustrating for some."
