"Resurrection is an American supernatural thriller film directed by Russell Mulcahy. It's clearly a rip-off of Seven. The plot is a copycat: a detective who is investigating a series of murders linked to a mysterious figure from his past and with religious motivation. Jesus is coming. Body parts, Biblical quotes. . . you name it. Well, Jesus would come and go back after watching this movie. . . Some interviews and a very dark transfer from a 35 mm interpositive makes this release a bit disappointing but the movie is what it is."

"This is such an obscure, underrated serial killer film. Graphic twists à la Seven. Christophe Lambert and Russel Mulcahy reunited, bringing in A-list character actors Robert Joy and Leland Orser who both submit outstanding performances, plus who can miss David Cronenberg as the priest (?!) and Rick Fox.
