Kelly-Anne wakes up every morning by the courthouse to secure a seat at the high-profile trial of Ludovic Chevalier, a serial killer she is obsessed with. As days go by, the young woman bonds with another friendly groupie, which momentarily breaks her out of her loneliness. But as the proceedings drag on and she spends more and more time in the courtroom with the victims’ families, Kelly-Anne finds it increasingly difficult to maintain her psychological balance and assume her morbid fixation with the killer. She will then do whatever it takes to get her hands on the final piece of the puzzle: the missing video of a murdered 13-year-old girl, to whom Kelly-Anne bears a disturbing resemblance.

Spine-chilling

"Amazingly disturbing movie, particularly excellent sound design. The release itself is great as well, and the bonus materials are pretty solid."

Red Rooms

"Red Rooms is a chilling and hypnotic psychological thriller that trades cheap shocks for slow-burning dread, pulling viewers into the disturbing orbit of obsession, internet voyeurism, and true-crime culture. Directed by Pascal Plante, the film follows a fashion model who becomes fixated on the trial of an accused serial killer, gradually blurring the line between curiosity and complicity. Rather than sensationalizing violence, the movie weaponizes absence and implication, creating unbearable tension through sterile courtrooms, dark web mythology, and the protagonist’s increasingly unsettling behavior. Juliette Gariépy delivers a mesmerizing lead performance that keeps the audience both fascinated and deeply uncomfortable. Stylish, cold, and psychologically corrosive, Red Rooms lingers long after it ends, offering one of the most unsettling examinations of modern spectatorship in recent horror cinema."

Can't wait

"Very excited to watch this, as it has been on my wish list for a long time."

Line A. (5/5)

One of the best horror films I've seen in the past decade

"This is a really dark and upsetting film about a woman obsessed with a serial killer. The less you know, the better. Just know that it takes its time to build to a jaw-dropping conclusion so if you often complain about "nothing happening" in films, this isn't for you. The disc features a commentary from the director and a few featurettes."

Trent S. (5/5)

A Great, If Unsettling, Watch

"Movie: A very compelling movie that deals with some extremely heavy topics in an effective way, able to use people's reactions to horrific events (and recordings of said events) to convey weight and tension. It's also an interesting character study that gives a feminine take on a type of person with a lot of usually male-coded traits (technologically sophisticated, emotionally cold, etc. ). The usage of tech was also very well done. I loved the prominent usage of DuckDuckGo. Extras: Nice to have the trailer, and the show with the composer is great! It's about 20 minutes or so, and goes through the highlights from the soundtrack. The BTS Featurette is closer to an hour long and a neat look at the making of the movie. Book: Decent enough essay. Packaging: Very grat overall, especially the slipcover."

Red Rooms

"Great movie, great case and extras, got to me fast!"

Caleb J. (5/5)

A new favorite

"Red Rooms had me floored. Truly one of the greatest modern movies. The atmosphere, acting, and score are all top notch. Type of film you don't even want to say anything about in the sense that it's better to go in blind and be taken in. Awesome release."

Drake D. (5/5)

The internet is terrifying

"And yet we are all on it. This is maybe the best film made about this unholy addiction, the tenuous connections we make through it, and the unlikely possibility of redemption such roads bring. Great commentary track on this disc."

Scott N. (5/5)

One of the best film from the year.

"One of the best film from the year. Amazing thriller film to come out with all its twists and turns and weirdies. Definetely get this release."
