Raging Grace

Really enjoyed this one, especially the humor that pops up throughout and in scenes between mother and daughter. Yes there’s social commentary here, but also doesn’t take itself too seriously.

I really enjoyed this movie. It won't be for everyone though, with its take on immigration and colonialism. Some people will find it overally preachy. I didn't mind that, and thought it was really well made.

This feels like a genuinely strong pickup: the Blu‑ray gives the film’s sharp social tension and creeping unease a clarity that really amplifies its impact. Vinegar Syndrome’s presentation highlights the contrast between domestic intimacy and simmering dread, letting the film’s visual language breathe in a way streaming never quite managed. As a purchase, it feels fully justified — a contemporary thriller whose bite and atmosphere are only strengthened by the upgrade.

Another great Vinegar Syndrome partner label. This movie hits all of the right notes when it comes to a suspenseful movie about a mother and daughter. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed this take on the haves vs the have-nots that isn't exactly what it seems from the outset. It starts slow but stick with it until the end. Although somewhat predictable the "twist" is still very satisfying. The acting is good all around.
