Description

A bloody, sadistically funny satire of cheap horror exploitation films. Psycho Paul, a sinister, egotistical filmmaker introduces previews and scenes from his films as a tribute to himself. He believes that his films are the greatest and worst films ever made. Paul Van Dan Elzen sharpened his skills on the sets of some of Todd Sheets’ classic SOV films before turning the camera on himself, his brother, and his mom and making one of the most mind-meltingly absurd movies ever released. Trust us, you have never seen another movie like this. VHSHITFEST is so proud to present this mesmerizing outsider art epic for the first time ever on disc complete with hours and hours of extras.

    A Fringe‑Cinema Mixtape: Psycho Paul’s Film Festival on Blu‑ray

An outsider‑cinema mixtape preserved with boutique‑label care. Psycho Paul’s Film Festival is a chaotic, heartfelt celebration of regional horror, DIY surrealism, and the filmmakers who never stopped creating—even when no one was watching. Essential for collectors who crave the strange, the handmade, and the defiantly personal.

    Quite The Festival

The slipcover is awesome, as always with anything VS or their awesome partner Labels release! It is a cool movie that was a lot of fun to watch! I always love the unique VS service of allowing you to stack as many movies as you like in your cart during any release period and ship them for free! The peerless VS restoration process was on full display with stellar sound and picture! Thank you, VS, for continuing to lovingly restore and release so many wonderful films from every conceivable genre! You are keeping physical media alive in this streaming world we now live in! Highly recommended!
