Description

NUTS! recounts the unbelievable true story of John Romulus Brinkley, a Kansas doctor who in 1917 discovered that he could cure impotence by transplanting goat testicles into men. From there, the story only gets more bizarre.

Mixing hand-drawn animated reenactments, interviews, and archival footage, NUTS! traces Brinkley’s rise from poverty and obscurity to the heights of celebrity, wealth, and influence.

Bonkers disc that hi had
Bonkers disc that hi had passed on several times before but finally took the plunge, and I’m glad I did! It’s very interesting and quite funny at times. Extras are decent but I love the artwork on both the slipcover and inlay.

a good documentary
This was pretty much a straight up documentary. I expected it to have a sense of humor about the subject matter. It was interesting, but I feel like the cover wrote a check the movie didn't cash. Even so, as docs go, this was well made and compelling.
