Lonely, meditative film with little plot or dialogue beyond loosely following some young Floridians over the period of a few days before a potentially devastating hurricane is about to make landfall. If you go into this with little expectation of a traditional narrative and you let the film take you where it wants, No Sleep Till can be quite rewarding. There’s some beautiful cinematography and ample atmosphere that really captures the darker, lonelier side of a Florida summer. It’s not overtly sad, but there is a thread of melancholy throughout. Though not a whole lot happens in No Sleep Till, the vibe has stuck with me for days after viewing it. Recommended for anyone that likes dreamy films that offer more mood than a traditionally told story with a resolution.

This is one of those movies that feels like you’re a fly on the wall, observing the lives of a group of people. Moody sleeper with enjoyable moments.
