Factory 25, a Brooklyn-based independent film distribution company was founded in 2009 by Matt Grady. F25 is a home for conceptually provocative narratives and documentaries. When the coastal Florida town of Atlantic Beach is threatened by an impending hurricane, locals prepare for a mandatory evacuation. But as the last tourists depart and residents board-up their homes, a few wanderers feel strangely compelled to remain. Among them are two-long time friends who embrace willful ignorance in pursuit of their dream gig, a local teenager who bikes alone through the darkening night, and an obsessive storm chaser who recognizes this might be the opportunity of his career. As if haunted by the soon-to-be ghost of their hometown, they venture into the night and face the threats that await them with fascination and dread. Ominous and dream-like in equal measure, the debut from Alexandra Simpson—and the latest feature from  Omnes Films (CHRISTMAS EVE IN MILLER’S POINT, EEPHUS, HAM ON RYE)—is a hypnotic take on the disaster movie.

"What a strange and fascinating little film, equal parts mesmerizing and disquieting. As a former New Orleanian, I can relate to the stay or evacuate dilemma. What's even more fascinating is No Sleep Till’s watchful eye focuses on that rare few that choose to walk into the storm. I love haunting artwork on the slip, rendered in stormy purples accenting a young girl bicycling through a terrifyingly vast night. A short BTS is the only extra but there's a 28 page booklet to wander through post show. As nervous as I am about devastating weather events, I'm glad I did."

Dark Florida Summer Vibes

"Lonely, meditative film with little plot or dialogue beyond loosely following some young Floridians over the period of a few days before a potentially devastating hurricane is about to make landfall. If you go into this with little expectation of a traditional narrative and you let the film take you where it wants, No Sleep Till can be quite rewarding. There’s some beautiful cinematography and ample atmosphere that really captures the darker, lonelier side of a Florida summer. It’s not overtly sad, but there is a thread of melancholy throughout. Though not a whole lot happens in No Sleep Till, the vibe has stuck with me for days after viewing it. Recommended for anyone that likes dreamy films that offer more mood than a traditionally told story with a resolution."

Nice little film

"This one reminded me of another I got from This company. Harper’s comet. A series of little stories that all exist on one night. This film takes place at the onset of a hurricane. We meet a few folks. The stories aren’t high impact. It’s about little moments people go through and how they handle or don’t handle an oncoming storm. Chill pace. Good atmosphere with radio chatter and news segments"
