The psychology of *** has always been fascinating to me, but particularly when explored through cinema. Every culture has their own rules, taboos, and norms, and I love learning how we’re alike and what separates us. Love’s Whirlpool brings together a group of adults from various backgrounds and walks of life to a club where they can explore their fantasies and desires with strangers. There are some surprisingly tender moments throughout the film and also some rather unrealistic exchanges, but overall it’s a really great film with some humorous and human elements to it. The *** scenes are pretty timid and somewhat sill and awkward but I believe that was the point, and yet it’s still a **** film that embraces a *** positive message overall. Enjoyable and recommended.
