Graduating college in 1990, Pavement was one of my all time favorite bands and I was lucky to get to see them on every you're through Southern California once I discovered their Slay Trax ep. I did get to witness their drummer Gary Young so the show to do a handstand in the middle of their set. This doc captures his would nature and gives insight into how he split from the band. The doc makes clever use of marionettes to dramatize some of the band history over narration. Highly recommend to fans of pavement and fans of crazy drummers

Features alone make it worth it. This is the definitive pavement documentary as far as I’m concerned. A must have for fans of the band.
