Last of the Red Hot Lovers

As a longtime physical media collector, releases like this are exactly why I’m still buying discs. This isn’t simply the movie in a prettier box. The presentation has been upgraded across the board, and the entire edition feels thoughtfully assembled. The film looks spectacular, the audio is first-rate, and the packaging gives the release a real sense of occasion. A little seen favorite finally treated with the respect it deserves.

I was only familiar with Neil Simon's The Odd Couple, so this movie was a welcome surprise. Younger Alan Arkin was really something else and an absolute delight to watch. Even though the movie is very dialogue heavy, it goes by at a brisk pace.

Good artwork and packaging.

Alan Arkan reached his career peak in Pig… but he’s pretty **** good in this too! I viewed this film on the Last of the Red Hot Lovers Cinematographe Blu-ray Limited Edition physical media released through Vinegar Syndrome and it is the same great premium level of packaging and presentation that you’ve come to expect from the generic releases of this boutique label. No other brand beats Vinegar Syndrome at the cardboard game and this great slipcover is no exception to the consistently fantastic artwork and component quality this company produces.

Exceptional performances and a great transfer. Alan Arkin is classic
