Lady Streetfighter

picnics in bed, a woman dipping a celery stalk into a glass of wine (before fellating it), endless "double crosses". Sleazy, poorly made and terribly acted. Renee Harmon is the female Tommy wiseau

Great slipcover for this release. Glad I was able to get this before going out of print. Fun sequences and scenes in this film.

Lady Streetfighter is incredibly rough around the edges, but I had a lot of fun with it. Renee Harmon has such an unusual screen presence, and there is something fascinating about watching a film this cheap simply charge ahead with complete confidence in itself. The acting is awkward, the action is scrappy, and at times it barely seems to hold together, but that is also where most of its charm comes from. It feels less like conventional filmmaking and more like somebody was absolutely determined to make their own action movie, whatever it took. Strange, clumsy, and very entertaining, this is exactly the kind of outsider cinema that feels at home with AGFA.

I’d been aware of Lady Streetfighter for a while, so this felt like a fun one to finally add to the shelf. It has exactly the kind of rough-edged exploitation pedigree that makes a release like this appealing to me as a collector.

A must seen movie to believe what happens in this release.
