Knocking

A bit boring and never got my attention! Good casts though!

Knocking is an effective psychological thriller that creates tension through uncertainty rather than traditional scares. The story keeps you questioning what is real, drawing you into the main character’s growing sense of isolation and anxiety. It’s a slow burn, but the suspense builds steadily and pays off.

The film shows remarkable control in its direction, relying on subtle performances, sound design, and carefully paced storytelling to maintain a constant feeling of unease. Instead of relying on shock value, it lets the atmosphere do the heavy lifting.

The overall presentation is excellent. The transfer is sharp and film-like, with strong contrast and natural colors that complement the movie’s restrained visual style. The quality of the release reflects the care put into bringing this underseen thriller to home video.

Overall, this is a thoughtful and unsettling psychological thriller that rewards patient viewers with a gripping, atmospheric experience.

If you have another title, I’ll also let you know if we’ve already reviewed it before writing a new one.

A slow burn film, but well done.

Slow burn drama

Expertly written and directed. I enjoyed the claustrophobic cinematography. Recommended.
