Description

Far away from the modern world, in the ruins of a remote castle, a self-styled 'King' and his loyal 'Servant' perform an absurd daily cycle of pomp, ceremony, and escalating cruelty. Their isolated kingdom is thrown into chaos when the King dreams of a Queen and orders the Servant to build her from the wood of a fallen tree. With the introduction of the 'Queen', devotion and paranoia collide: the Servant falls hopelessly in love, while the King grows increasingly cruel and unstable. What follows is a darkly comic spiral of rivalry, liberation, and megalomania, as two clashing visions of masculinity battle for control over a kingdom built of nothing.

    Hail To The

King Baby is a strange, hypnotic indie that leans fully into its surreal premise and offbeat tone. Kit Redstone commits completely to the concept, creating something that’s equal parts uncomfortable, funny, and oddly compelling. It’s definitely not for everyone, but its boldness and originality make it hard to forget.

The absurdity in this one will make it not for everyone but if you can get into it, there's lots of laughs!
