This was very very weird. I am not 100% sure I liked this one.
It was a bit naff and gross but more stupid than anything.
I suppose it was fine but I much prefer my slasher horror's being a bit more scary and just better put together.

I hate the awful PS1-sounding midi keyboard music, but it’s a pretty fun ridiculous horror comedy. I never rented this as a kid (my parents wouldn’t have let me anyway,) but I always remembered the VHS from the rental place, and this is kind of a perfect horror movie for kids since it’s primarily kids who are taking on the deranged ice cream man. It reminds me of those ****** straight-to-video kids movies from the time, but R-rated.

Blind bought this under an out of print warning, and based off the good reviews in Joe Bob's Mutant Facebook group. Kinda wish I would have known about the upcoming new and better 4K release with more bonus features. . . But at least this was a great deal. Not sure if I need to upgrade, since the Joe Bob material will look the same on both.
