                      "Another great release by Shudder who are just knocking it out of the park like usual. Another soon to be horror classic. Joyena Sun is so good in the lead role and I love Cronenbergian body horror and this just fits the bill. Great purchase!"

                      "I watched Grafted on Shudder shortly after it came out and liked it enough to pick up this release. A lot of people compared this to the Substance since it came out around the same time. I can see the similarities but I think it has just as much in common with Body Melt, another obvious influence. Watching it a second time, it remains a unique movie despite those connections. I don’t recall seeing another horror movie that discusses Asian identity across the diaspora like this one does. It feels a bit long at only 96 minutes and could use a bit of either editing or modification in a few places. Shudder releases are a little stingy with features but this has a few of them, though they are short (the making of featurette) and very slow and not interesting (behind the scenes). The slipcover artwork is excellent and adds a different feel to the movie that none of the other promotional posters or artwork provide. I think this will be a movie that people look back upon favorable. Happy to have in my collection!"
