After the death of a high school track star during a race, a mysterious, fencing-mask wearing killer begins murdering her friends and teachers. Who could the killer be? Her disgruntled coach? Her angry sister? Her violent boyfriend? As the bodies pile up, a twisted mystery unfolds, slowly revealing itself as it moves towards its bloody climax. One of the quintessential high school set slasher films of the early 80s, Vinegar Syndrome is bringing GRADUATION DAY to blu-ray, newly restored in 4K and presented in its original aspect ratio for the very first time!

Underrated? Or Dull… can’t decide

"Movie looked fine. Definitely had some redeeming scenes. Possibly an underrated gem. Was a bit dull however. This one is tough to rate lol"

Marques J. (3/5)

Valedictorian of Violence

"A scrappy charm that makes it an easy watch if you’re into the genre. Not great, but definitely a fun time."

Tyler S. (4/5)

An early slasher classic

"A high school track team starts getting killed off one by one by a masked killer. Done like a classic who dunnit it with a couple twists, and the suspicious red-hairings it's a good time."

Nathan M. (4/5)

Fast paced slasher

"Graduation Day had some pretty cool kills. A track athlete dies and the rest of her team starts to get picked off. Video quality is pretty good. I had a lot of fun with it."

Graduation Slay more like.

"Synopsis: After a rousing and oddly edited montage opening of young athletes trying to be a winner, poor Laura pushes herself so hard she dies on the track (after winning of course). Months later her navy officer sister hitchhikes back home so she can be there for what would have been Laura's GRADUATION DAY to accept a trophy. Suspiciously around this time the other members of the track team start getting killed (including Scream Queen extraordinaire Linnea Quigley who plays a horny student that would do anything to avoid Summer school). Christopher George is the over overbearing coach who may have been responsible for the young track stars death and lost his job as a result of it. Review: The editing in this is nauseating, especially in the opening scene. This is typical slasher fare but what elevates it from the bunch is the creative and rather violent deaths. They do a good job of creating a bunch of believable suspects however the ending is ruined by the last 6ish minutes. Carnage Count 2/5 Sleaze Score 3/5"

Brett J. (3/5)

Fun Horror Romp

"Highly enjoyable! Some so bad it's good moments, but with characters who are more flushed out than in other peer genre flicks of the time."

Alex B. (5/5)
